Please note that our meetings have been postponed due to lack of attendance but we will be getting up and going very soon.
Please feel free to bring someone with you and bring a teen. We have alot to discuss and alot of plans to make so that we can get some activities in the works for the teens during the summer months. We need suggestions and input from everyone.
Wendy Shannon has graciously accepted the responsibility of taking our meeting minutes
We would also like to start a fundraising committee so that we can raise funds for scholarships for all three high schools as well as host activities for the teens like dances, picnics etc.
also an exploratory committee to look for programs suited to teens for after school and weekends and during summer months.
Our goal is to enhance our meetings by taking the information from the teens and finding ways to help get them move forward in school and in their personal lives
We look forward to seeing all of you as well as some new faces.

Events
Sunday May 18th-Fodor Farm 9am. We will be planning out the garden.
The next NNHT meeting will be Wednesday May 4th. Location to be announced.
The next NNHT meeting will be held on Thursday May 1st from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
at the Norwalk Public Library on Belden Avenue.

We have requested a spot at Fodor farm to grow an NNHT garden that we hope parents and teens alike will be working side by side to be a part of a great community project.

February 6, 2008 Norwalk YMCA First organizational meeting | 7:00pm |
Wednesday March 5th 7:00pm to 9:00pm at 25 Van Zant Street | This meeting will be co-facilitated by teens. Please join us. We have circle discussions without the usual front tables/podiums with someone dictating that make people feel uncomfortable to speak. Everyone gets involved and everyone has something to contribute.
Our goal is to stop listening and start hearing our teens.
